Legacy Protection Counsel, Meet Your Attorney

The Attorney Behind Legacy Protection Counsel

Violet Nwokoye spent two decades in Texas courtrooms before she built the practice she wished more families had access to sooner, and named it after the strength that made it possible.

The Story

From the Courtroom to the Kitchen Table

For two decades, Violet Nwokoye practiced family law and civil litigation across Texas, the kind of law where, by the time a client walks in, something has usually already gone wrong. Somewhere along the way, a pattern became impossible to ignore: the families who fared best weren't the ones with the best lawyers in the fight, they were the ones who'd had a plan before the fight ever started.

That observation is why Legacy Protection Counsel exists. Violet built it as the practice she wished more of her litigation clients had walked in the door with years earlier, a place where the conversation happens before the crisis, not after it.

"I spent two decades in courtrooms watching families deal with what happens when there's no plan. Legacy Protection Counsel is what I built instead, so families protect what matters before they ever need a courtroom."

Where the Name Comes From

Ikeanyi, Our Strength

Ikeanyi is Violet's mother's family name. It means "our strength", and it carries her father's strength in it too, the man who was instrumental in shaping who she became.

It's not a marketing phrase. It's the idea the whole practice runs on: the strength one generation builds, through hard work, through hard-won experience, through simply showing up, becomes the legacy the next one inherits. Violet's two decades in Texas courtrooms are the strength. Your family's protected future is the legacy.

Why the Name Changed

Why the Name Changed From Estate Planning

Violet doesn't call this "estate planning." She calls it Legacy Protection.

"Estate planning sounds like paperwork for people who are already old, or already wealthy. Legacy Protection is different. It's about naming what you've built, and deciding, on your own terms, who carries it forward, whether you're 35 or 75, whether you own a home or you're building your first business."
